All young exhibitors (18 and under) are eligible to participate in a special Junior Ring, to be held at lunchtime on Saturday. Each child will present his or her cat, and will answer a few questions from the presiding TICA judge, Mark Coleman.

Registered TICA Junior Achievers are eligible for a discounted entry fee: $60.00 for 2 days or $30 for 1 day. Fee includes participation in Junior Ring.

Children who are not yet registered TICA Junior Achievers may still participate in the Junior Ring, but are not eligible for the JA entry discount. For these children, participation in the Junior Ring is just $5.

About TICA's Junior Achiever Program

TICA's Junior Achiever pilot program is designed to:

• Educate and mentor junior TICA exhibitors

• Inspire and honor junior exhibitors with trophies and awards

• Increase the number of TICA junior members

• Create a junior exhibitor community of practice through on-line discussion groups

• Make alliances with other animal husbandry-based youth programs

• Support feline health and care

• Secure the future of TICA and the cat fancy
